In Year One, we have been learning about 'What's it like where I live?' We were also looking at environmental issues and how we can care for the environment. On one of our walks we noticed that there was a lot of rubbish on a patch of land just down the road from school. The children and I thought it would be a great idea, for one of our lessons, to make a positive impact on our environment and clean it up.

The children were very excited, worked super hard and we cleaned up 10 bags worth of rubbish!
